Posted by Jill Yanus on
When I was a kid during Saturday lawn chores you’d hear my dad yell “Get me the Chlordane,” or “Someone didn’t put the “Paraquat away,” and “Go to the hardware store and buy some sodium methyldithiocarbamate (actually he said Vapam).” These are either hardcore insect sprays, weed killers and soil fumigants that have been taken off the market for years. Backpack sprayers are great tools for fertilizing your garden and landscape, and controlling weeds and pests. The Chapin 63950 Mixes on Exit (MOE) Backpack Sprayer makes your work even easier. The MOE Clean Tank Spraying system automatically adds concentrate as you spray, with mixing ratios ranging from 1 to 10 ounces per gallon. Separate water and concentrate tanks make it easy to switch chemicals as needed. Clean-up is a breeze since the main tank stays clean and any remaining concentrate can be stored in the separate smaller tank. The two tank system also reduces waste of chemicals. The...
